When 12-year-old Sam grows up he wants to be a scientist specialising in MS research, because he doesn’t want people to go through what he does. Recently, he interviewed Dr Veronique Miron about her ongoing myelin repair research. http://mssoc.uk/1U88obv
Sam’s mum, Sandra, got in touch with MS Society Ambassador Scott Mills after reading a blog he’d written for us. She told him about Sam, who was diagnosed with MS when he was five.
We sent Sam to the University of Edinburgh to talk to Veronique and find about more about being a scientist and why repairing myelin is important in treating MS.
This Christmas we want to #WrapUpMS, and we need your help to do it. Your donations help us continue to fund vital research projects like Veronique's: http://mssoc.uk/1U88obv
