Founded in 1997 by Catholic Scholars at the University of Chicago, the Lumen Christi Institute brings together thoughtful Catholics and others interested in the Catholic tradition and makes available to them the wisdom of the Catholic spiritual, intellectual, and cultural traditions. Now in its twentieth year of operation, the Lumen Christi Institute continues to work toward leavening American higher education with future leaders better educated and formed in Catholic faith and thought.

In this video, Lumen Christi associates John Buchmann (PhD student in Religious Ethics), Charlie Capps (JD/PhD student in Law and Philosophy), Michael Dinsmore (Fourth-Year Economics Student), Maria Macia (JD/PhD student in Law and Economics), Noelle Patno (PhD student in Molecular Metabolism and Nutrition), and Raúl Zegarra (PhD student in Theology) tell us what the Lumen Christi Institute has meant to them during their time at the University of Chicago.
