• Once in a lifetime date....

    1K views 1 year ago
On the13th November 2014, Lifeline celebrated a once in a lifetime date coinciding with our national crisis line 13 11 14.

To recognise this unique date, Lifeline commissioned artist Darren Henderson to develop a street mural in Melbourne’s iconic Gertrude Street.

The mural pays tribute to the vital work of Lifeline volunteers and encourages those in crisis to reach out.

Every day over 2,00 calls are made to Lifeline. Darren’s mural took just over two days to complete - this means more than 4,000 calls were received during its creation.
