With one more weekend to go before 2018 begins, a few CN trains are seen around the Moncton area.
Train #1: After aligning the tall switch at the east end of Gordon Yard to the normal position, CN train #305 (Moncton, NB - Toronto, ON) assembles their train then they head off through Berry Mills. The power for this train is a C44-9W (2533), an SD70M-2 (8937) and a pair of ES44DC locomotives (2302 [shut down] & 2332 [DPU]).
Train #2: CN train #407 (Dartmouth, NS - Moncton, NB) heads westward to Moncton with about 112 cars in total. The power for this train is a C40-8M leading (2413) along with a C44-9WL (2520), an ES44DC (2267), a GP40-2LW (9618) & a GP9RM (4140).
Train #3: After coming off a late 306 (Toronto, ON - Moncton, NB), the 2 ES44AC locomotives (2835 & 2977) bring train #406 (Moncton - Saint John & return) westward near Salisbury, NB.
Train #4: CN train #305 assembles it's train at Gordon Yard with a pretty good set up of power, CN 2977 leading along with 5475 (SD60) and NS 8140 (ES44AC) for the head end power & CN 3030 (ET44AC) as the DPU.
Train #5: A late CN train #120 (Toronto, ON - Halifax, NS) heads eastward through Memramcook, NB & Amherst, NS with 2826 (ES44AC) & 5788 (SD75I) for the head end power along with CREX 1518 (ES44AC) as the DPU hauling a pretty good size train (550 axles)
