Josh Maddocks Runs

🏃‍♂️ Slower runner from King’s Lynn, visiting local running clubs while training for the 2027 TCS London Marathon.

I’m Josh. Running helped me lose five stone, and now I’ve somehow got to work out how to cover 26.2 miles!

I’m on a mission to run with every club around King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, meet the people behind them and show what it’s genuinely like to turn up for the first time.

You’ll also find honest marathon training, races, parkrun, volunteering, Medal Monday and plenty of family running along the way.

My wife Emily is running London too, raising money for Rays of Sunshine, so this has become a proper family adventure.

If you’re a slower runner, new to running or simply enjoy real stories from the running community, subscribe and follow the journey to London 2027.
