This channel and the ebook it supports prove the truth of these words, which can be considered the first statement of African American Exceptionalism. Exaggerated victimhood dominates fiction, Hollywood, and politics; hence this channel is a response. Victimhood is a valid way to look at slavery, but the flip side takes a more positive view.
