The Israel AIDS Task Force combats the spread of HIV with prevention and awareness programs targeting the general public as well as specific social groups, while providing social, psychological, and health services for those already living with HIV. The Israel AIDS Task Force educates people about proper protection, encourages testing, provides treatment and support for those already infected, and combats the stigma and stereotypes associated with HIV/AIDS in an attempt to change national and public policy. These activities address disadvantaged populations including youth, the gay community, and the Israeli-Ethiopian community.
