Who doesn't like top 10 lists? These videos cover the best, most interesting, or most risky PC video games that you should pay attention to. I know it's impossible to make lists 100% objective but I always make my criteria clear as to why certain titles make it and others don't. Just because a game ends up in a top 10 list doesn't mean it would be considered as one of the 'best' games out there.
I create 12 videos a year that cover the top 10 PC games coming up in the next year. These are split by genre, so if you put them all together you get the top 120 to watch!
I also have special top 10 lists that cover more unique contexts.
Nostalgiasm is a series about gaming nostalgia where I jump back to a game from our childhoods in the 'Nostalgic Period of Gaming', 1995-2002, and either relive my old memories or experience something I missed out on. I play through the initial gameplay for about 1 hour plus to see if I still enjoy the game.
I spend some time adventuring into old games that fits the definition of the word 'abandonware'... for SCIENCE! ►FREE + COMPLETE + UNSUPPORTED◄
Wikipedia: "Abandonware is a product, typically software, ignored by its owner and manufacturer, and for which no product support is available. Although such software is usually still under copyright, the owner may not be tracking or enforcing copyright violations."
Although some games may be 'officially' or technically labelled freeware, I will count it as a possible choice in this series as long as it fits the definition above OR if the game is simply not available for official purchase anywhere.
Neither a let's play nor a review. Gamer Encounters! is a first impressions format of video game coverage. These are games that I have spent fewer than 2-3 hours playing and can be of titles that have fully released or are still in early access/Alpha/Beta.
