A trio of gals from Charlotte, GalFriday was raised on daddy’s bluegrass and momma’s hymn book. They have cut their teeth performing for the past 9 years, wowing crowds with killer live performances and a Carolina flavor you can’t get enough of. Their album, Bluegrass & Grit, is an irreverent marriage of country, southern rock, and newgrass. Steel guitar, banjo, slide and fiddle dance through tunes like “Southern Wind” and wrap themselves up in a three-part harmony that gets to your soul and gives it a thump.
