Healthy, resilient and increasingly productive landscapes supporting vibrant communities. Situated in northern Victoria and part of the Murray Darling Basin, The Goulburn Broken Catchment comprises the catchments of the Goulburn and Broken rivers and part of the Murray River valley. Established in 1997 as the peak natural resource management body in the catchment to develop and oversee the implementation of the Regional Catchment Strategy. The Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is working to ensure land and water resources are protected and enhanced as well as improving the region's social wellbeing, environmental quality and productive capacity in a sustainable manner.
