Fertile Ground Environmental Institute

Fertile Ground Environmental Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting environmental issues and social justice. The organization was founded in 2008 in Bellingham, Wash. and has Board Members from across the west coast of the United States.

Our primary focus is organizing and hosting events with a focus on hard-hitting analysis of our current predicament and strategic planning for real victories.

The Fertile Ground position is simple: every successful social movement in history has used force to achieve it's goals. There is a continuum of tactics within that ranging from boycotts, strikes, and civil disobedience to sabotage and outright revolution. A serious ecological movement is based around communities that embrace and promote dynamic, creative political action.

We are working to build that movement.
