Watch as Family Fun shows you how to make this chili popper chocolate dessert! These personalized chocolate desserts are fun dessert ideas that are great for any get-together. For this easy dessert recipe, you'll need Tootsie Rolls (two for each pepper), pretzel sticks, and melted red and green candy wafers. Warm the Tootsie Rolls in a 200 degree oven. For each pepper, knead two of them together. Stick a pretzel into the top of this easy dessert for the stem and continue molding the chocolate into a shape of a pepper. Set the finished chocolate desserts onto wax paper to let them cool. After the 'chilies' have cooled, melt half of a bag of the red candy wafers in the microwave and dip each of the individual peppers into it. You'll want to tap off as much excess chocolate as you can on each of the chocolate pretzels, even scraping the back of them on the sides of the container a little. Let the red candy set, and you can even set them in the refrigerator to speed up the process a bit. Melt the green candy wafers as well for the stem portion of these fun dessert ideas. Break off the excess pretzel and dip it into the green candy wafers, letting the excess drip off the same way you did for the red candy melts. Allow those to set, as well, before serving them. These party snack ideas will liven up any fiesta you throw in the future!
