I’m Deborah Lindquist, an award-winning eco-conscious fashion designer, artist, author, educator, and speaker. For more than four decades, my work has explored design, sustainability, creativity, and conscious living.
Known as the “Green Queen” in global fashion media, I create with organic, upcycled, vintage, and deadstock materials-making beauty while questioning how and why we make things.
A Parsons School of Design alum, I launched my namesake brand in 1983 after beginning my career in Manhattan’s fashion world.
Here, I share the creative life in all its forms: conversations with artists, designers, innovators, and creative thinkers; stories from my own journey; sustainable design and making; and ideas about creativity, reinvention, nature, and intentional living.
Because creativity isn’t only about what we produce. It’s about how we meet the world.
