ETA represents the electronics industry, from the technician and educator to the corporate institution. Widely known for electronics certification programs and accredited by the International Certification Accreditation Council (ICAC), ETA helps electronics technicians advance their knowledge and excel in their fields; while connecting employers to qualified electronics professionals.

Founded in 1978, the Electronics Technicians Association, International is a not-for-profit 501(c) 6, professional association promoting excellence in electronics technologies through certifications. Today, ETA has issued over 125,000 technical certifications covering more than 80 certification programs in a variety of electronics fields. The association is comprised of over 4,000 members, 700 Subject Matter Experts (SME) serving on various Industry Advisory Committees and over 1,000 Certification Administrators (CA). ETA aligns with the ISO 17024 standard.
