Dranoff2Piano

The Dranoff International 2 Piano Foundation has been the world's leading champion of 2 piano repertoire and artistry.
The Dranoff International 2 Piano Foundation was established in 1987 in Miami by the late pianist and educator Loretta Dranoff, in memory of her husband and performance partner with whom she performed highly sought after piano team from 1946 to 1973 as Steinway and Columbia artists. Loretta sought to invigorate international interest in 2 piano music, assist with young artist career development, and contribute to the community through innovative outreach programs.
Since its inception, the Dranoff's principal agenda has been to sponsor a 2 piano international competition which to date has been the career springboard for 40 piano duos.
In 2013, the foundation presented its final competition. Since then it has programmed an annual concert season, and in 2009 created the arts integration initiative PIANO SLAM.
