Recording Resilience is an annual workshop partnership between The Dougy Center and NW Documentary (http://nwdocumentary.org/). The workshop provides teenagers who have experienced a death the opportunity to learn digital storytelling tools from local documentary filmmakers and create a personal documentary about their loss and the person who died. Recording Resilience combines elements of many arts, including creative writing, music, and photography. The stories shared here reflect each youth’s originality and personal voice. They have given permission for their stories to be shared with others, so you are welcome to show any of them with groups or in trainings, with attribution to The Dougy Center and NW Documentary.
