DoctorStube

Hi, I am a child and family counselor in Missoula, Montana. My name is David Stube, PhD. I grew up in Montana and Indonesia. I love playing guitar and composing rock tunes. I am married to a wonderful woman and we have 4 children and 3 grands. I enjoy travel, diving, backpacking, and outdoor activites. I am an expert at divorce, post-traumatic stress, music interventions, and family matters. In 2005 I helped imcworldwide.org establish mental health centers for the tsunami victims in Banda Aceh. I used to do a great deal of playwriting but I seemed to have shifted my focus back to guitar which saved my life when I was a teenager. As a counselor I am primarily a family systems guy, although I put equal emphasis on existential issues, and cognitive-behavioral interventions.
