The Deadly Nightshade is a New England-based rock and country trio consisting of members Pamela Brandt, Anne Bowen and Helen Hooke, who originally began performing under the name "Ariel" with Gretchen Pfeifer Lucchesi and Beverly Rodgers.

During the height of their success in the mid-seventies, The Deadly Nightshade played up to 250 gigs per year including opening for Bill Joel, and appeared on multiple TV shows including Sesame Street. Their first two albums released on Phantom/RCA Records are represented in the archives of both the Smithsonian Institution and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Since 2008, the band has reunited each summer for performances in the New York City area; their newest album "Never Never Gonna Stop" is available on CD Baby.
