Kata For Self Defense Shotoryu Goshinjutsu

Shotoryu Goshinjutsu is a system of self-defense applications, Bunkai/Oyo, derived from and based on the kata of Shotokan karate.  While incorporating traditional Shotokan training; kihon, kata, and kumite, Shotoryu Goshinjutsu places a dedicated emphasis on the practical self-defense interpretations of kata movements, bringing the kata alive.
This system incorporates the superior biomechanical principles and body dynamics developed by Shotokan master Hidetaka Nishiyama.
Shotoryu Goshinjutsu prioritizes real-world, practical self-defense applications, including grappling, trapping, throwing, and strikes to vital points, over sport-fighting rules or aesthetics.
