Over the past year, Professor Andrew Friedland worked closely with a host of collaborators to produce Dartmouth’s first massive open online course, or “MOOC.” The course, “An Introduction to Environmental Science,” was adapted from a class Friedland has taught on campus at Dartmouth for years. In this video, Friedland and others involved in creating the course talk about what they learned from the process and how producing class for students around the world will benefit on-campus education.
Registration for Dartmouth’s second MOOC, “The Engineering of Structures Around Us,” led by Professor Vicki May, is now open, and the course begins on May 5. Find out more: https://www.edx.org/course/...
