Decks in the Park "Beats I Park I Life"

WHAT IS DECKS IN THE PARK
Decks In The Park "Beats I Park I Life" is a free outdoor music festival. It a collaborative effort of top Dallas DJs, Klyde Warren Park, Code Blue Sound, Spun Creative group and other movers and shakers in our city. It more of a musical community project than anything! Jeff Mitchell, founder of Decks in the Park has been thinking about this for a while after being inspired by a similar styled event called the Warm Up, put on by The MOMA PS1 museum in NY. That event has been running strong for 17 years. Once Klyde Warren Park was under way he knew it was time to execute! Each monthly event will feature 3-4 different DJs playing a different genres of music each time ranging from electronica, house music, reggae, soul, funk, indie, hip hop and more.
