The Widow Cameron

The Widow Cameron is the seventh album from poet and songwriter Cameron McGill, and his first since 2013’s Gallows Etiquette. Produced by Daniel Johnson (Judah Johnson/Patois) and engineered by Neil Strauch (Iron & Wine, Bonnie Prince Billy, Andrew Bird, Margot & the Nuclear So and So’s), the album was recorded at Chicago’s Shirk Studios and features bassist Rodrigo Palma and drummer Charles Koltak. McGill is the author of two poetry collections: Meridians (Willow Springs Books) and In the Night Field (Augury Books/Brooklyn Arts Press).
