The Mosaic Conservation Course (MCC) 2011-2016 is an initiative organized by the Centro di Conservazione Archeologica of Rome (CCA) in the frame of MOSAIKON: a program funded by the Getty Foundation and promoted by GCI, the Getty Conservation Institute, in partnership with ICCROM and ICCM, the International Committee for the Conservation of Mosaics. MCC is dedicated to conservators/restorers of Syria, Jordan, Tunisia and Libya. The course is held both at the Convento di San Nicola, in Belmonte in Sabina, Italy, headquarter of CCA and includes activities implemented in the home countries of the participants. MCC is directed by Roberto Nardi.
Among the activities of CCA, the development of training courses follows the aim of promoting issues related to archaeological conservation.Tra le attività del CCA, lo sviluppo di corsi di formazione insegue l'obiettivo di divulgare i temi legati alla conservazione archeologica.
