Jonesy's Rat Life

I love taking old junkie things and breathing new live into them. When I was a young boy, I wanted a mini~bike in the worst way. But I could afford a new one, so I bought old junkie ones and fixed them up. I'd tear apart worn out Tecumsehs, Briggs & Stratton engines and try so hard to make them work better. Back then, there were several places nearby where you could go and get parts like rings, carb kits and such. I blew some up but I also had some successes.

The same goes with regular daily drivers. I would take something that someone else threw away and start working on it. Little by little, I would just be patient, fixing this problem and that problem. Until the vehicle became viable again. All the while, learning and playing music. A 1920 Hudson 7 passenger phaeton was beyond saving, is now known as The Huddie~Duddie. It became a ratty 1920 Hudson Custom Roadster. It will always be old and wretched "Always Loud, Always Dirty!" Create things. Make music. Love life! ~ Booboo Jones
