Is an independent non-profit two-year technical college in Boston. We owe our existence to Dr. Benjamin Franklin who designated money in his 1789 will for the "benefit of young tradesmen in Boston." A matching gift by Andrew Carnegie in 1906 realized Benjamin Franklin's vision. We opened our doors in 1908 and have since been educating students in the technologies of the day with a focus on the innovations of tomorrow.
