A place to promote the Bay Circuit Trail system and related trails  in the Greater Boston area.

It aims to be a low tech video reference library of trails and open spaces to serve as a planning tool for area hikers, bicyclists, dog walkers, trail runners and others seeking to explore this wonderful region.

Bay Circuit Trail material is designed to align with directional movement used in the trail descriptions and maps. I walk from north to south.

Quality varies as I'm using a handheld camera (Canon R 20) and don't always find optimal conditions when I begin at a site. I have a simple low fi approach and use still photos as transition spaces between video clips.

My main aesthetic aim is to capture the land. My own presence is just a voice which I attempt to apply to useful nature description and editorial asides.

The assumption is that people deserve to be able to look at nature without a big head in the frame or the posturing that amounts to "look at me on a trail"
