The Honorable Gregory S. Casey, president and chief executive officer of the Business-Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC), discusses the BIPAC mission in our "About BIPAC" whiteboard web series.
I think the mission of BIPAC has remained the same, from the very first day until now. And that is to give the business community the advice necessary and the tools necessary from them to be effective advocates of their positions. Whether it is public policy or in straight politics. Remembering that politics is part of the process to develop public policy. So it is a wide arena.
And as times have changed, and technology has changed, as focus has changed, some of the tactics and some of the strategies have changed, but the mission remains the same.
How do you make the business community better advocates of what it has to do in order to maintain prosperity?
