We’re the original Backyard Axe Throwing League (BATL). Today BATL offers a uniquely casual urban venue to experience the thrill of axe throwing in leagues, or for private events such as parties and team building.What started in a backyard as a passion for axe throwing quickly grew into a movement built on camaraderie, connection, and unforgettable experiences. 

We’re more than just axes, knives, and arrows—we’re a place where families, friends, and colleagues come to celebrate milestones, relieve stress, and create lasting memories. With expert coaches, a welcoming atmosphere, and a commitment to safety, we ensure that everyone, from first-timers to seasoned throwers, can experience the excitement of hitting their target.

Our leagues are a close knit community of friends and competitors that meet to throw axes on a weekly basis throughout the year. Registration is open to both singles or small groups who throw individually over an 8-week season to crown a playoff champion.
