Okay so I thought I was being funny, using a new weather word, "Derecho." I've heard it used as a strong wind within a thunderstorm, that is moving horizontally, not in a circular motion. So unlike a tornado, a derecho is a different kind of burst of storm energy. Possibly a micro-burst, as you will see in this video. It really starts around 1:20 .
