"Digimon World" (デジモンワールド Dejimon Wārudo?) is a video game by Bandai on the PlayStation, released in 1999, about the "Digimon" virtual pets. It was followed by various sequels released for the "PlayStation" and other platforms.
The storyline focuses on a human brought to "File City" on File Island by Jijimon to save the island. Digimon have been losing their memories and becoming feral and the city has fallen into disarray. The goal of the player, who is represented by a young boy whose name is given as Hiro/Hero (this is a common Japanese naming convention for RPG protagonists), is to save the island by helping Digimon recover their memory and return to the city.
There are 65 Digimon in the game that a partner Digimon can become. All Rookie, Champion, and Ultimate forms which can be acquired without cheating are also available as Digimon to recruit to File City, with the exceptions of MegaSeadramon, HerculesKabuterimon, and Phoenixmon.
Digimon World's game play utilizes two major aspects: Raising and battling. The element of monster raising consists of feeding your Digimon, allowing it to rest, and leading it to the bathroom. As a Digimon grows and trains, it can digivolve into a stronger form; there are 5 stages of digivolution in total including the desirable Ultimate form. Raising a Digimon carefully and properly helps progress through the game, and improper treatment can lead to dire consequences. The second element of the game, battling, composes the other major aspect of the game. Digimon World's battle system heavily relies on options that a player can command, such as Your Call and Retreat. As a player ventures in the wild, Digimon may engage in battle when touching each others paths. Battles are usually inevitable while adventuring, and they are a reliable source of techniques that a Digimon can learn and money. Training a partner Digimon enhances its parameters, enabling it to fight with better ease and digivolve to powerful forms. Digimon World also provides various mini-games for the player, including fishing, arena tournaments, and curling. Sub-quests are also available, mainly for new recruiting Digimon and other hidden surprises.
Hp:Determines how much damage you can take before dying Mp:Determines how many attacks you can use Off:Increases the damage you can do Def:Decreases the damage you take Speed:Decreases the time between attacks Brains:Allows for more commands in battle, while training has a low chance to learn technique
Initially, the game has very little to offer to the player, however, as the game progresses, players gain significant advantages as the city flourishes. The game offers several feats for the player in the form of medals, allowing further game play even after the storyline is completed.
Silent Hill 1, the Playstation 1 survival horror King is a game I am well aware of, but outside of watching others play - and the demo, I have no experience with. A somewhat blind playthrough if you will, but unsurprisingly... having some knowledge of Silent Hill 1 doesn't make it any less horrible to play. One of the few game series that truly scares me enough to turn the game off. Silent Hill's walkthrough will go down in history on my channel as a giant achievement for myself, and should I brave this game to its credits, then maybe I can grow the stones to play future Silent Hill's, and someday even Fatal Frame. Right now, let's focus on Silent Hill 1.
Like Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill is a late generation Playstation 1 title that managed to blow away gamers everywhere. I could tell from the moment I touched the demo it was going to be special. Didn't expect it to be as scary and claustrophobic as it turned out to be, however. Props to Team Silent or their masterful talent in creating a fantastic and legendary game.
I recorded this on ePSXe 2.0.5 and as you can see, it looks sharp and beautiful. Fully recommend for anyone that has the censored Irish and UK version. This is how Silent Hill should be played.
This Silent Hill walkthrough will be the Good Ending as I hear from fans it makes the most sense as being the canon ending, and canon means a lot to me.
If you enjoyed Silent Hill, than please leave a comment, Like, and fave as it will help my channel grow so I can continue doing this. Thank you to everyone for your endless support.
Life Is Strange Walkthrough / Let's Play by AloversGaming. With a hint of Girl Power, Magic, and.. Social Media? This game is a joy to play. A story driven game that I have found to be rather deep with its world has already won my heart, and the characters thus far have been stand outs in their own right. I wasn't able to put the controller down from the moment I started recording this beauty and hope you guys and girls can find the same fun in watching my Let's Plays.
This game can be played on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Steam. So you have no excuse not to own it!
The game's protagonist is Maxine Caulfield, better known as Max. She is an 18-year-old photography senior who discovers she can rewind time to change the course of events. She gets disturbing premonitions of the future. Max is reunited with her old friend, Chloe Price, and they uncover the truth behind Rachel Amber, a missing student. They both attend High School in Arcadia, Oregon and have to deal with everyday life issues created by their own families and school mates and as you can expect in a typical public high school environment, sometimes teens make bad decisions. Players will be given the opportunity to make choices while playing Max and each choice will have consequences in gameplay. Her ability to 'rewind time' will impact the game's narrative. There are multiple endings depending on the choices the player makes for Max. The game has a licensed indie soundtrack and hand-painted visuals.
