CarbonCount is a metric developed by the Alliance to Save Energy that provides a quantitative measure of avoided carbon per dollar investment. CarbonCount evaluates bond investments in U.S.-based energy-efficiency and renewable-energy projects based on the expected reduction in carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions resulting from each $1,000 of investment.
Investors can be sure of an accurate score, as CarbonCount has been reviewed and validated by EPA technical experts. Our goal is to make the CarbonCount score an integral part of any investing decision for energy efficiency or renewable energy projects.
In an effort to increase awareness of innovative energy-efficient products and solutions, EE Global 2016 introduced the Solutions Showcase – an interactive, audience-driven video contest and networking event.
