The American International School in Gaza

The American International School in Gaza (often referred to as "AISG") has a current enrollment of about 400 students, KG 0 through Grade 12. We follow a college bound curriculum; however, you should be aware that many students have Arabic as their first language. (The school itself should be considered more E.S.L. oriented than typical International Schools due to our student population being almost exclusively Palestinian).

Students tend to be very pleasant and likable. Most are eager to learn and their parents are supportive. 

Students must be three years old before December 31 to enter Kindergarten 0, four years to enter kg I and five years old to enter Kindergarten II. Both programs are full day. Arabic language is offered one period per day beginning in Grade 1. The school day is from 8:15 am to 3:00 pm, Sunday through Thursday. (The weekend is Friday and Saturday). KG 0 & KG I students leave at 2:00. The school honors Palestinian national and religious holidays.
