The Virtual World Sandbox is an, open source, free authoring tool developed by the Office of the Secretary of Defense that brings interactive simulation authoring to the Web.
Using the latest browser technologies, the Virtual World Sandbox allows you to create, edit and share interactive experiences in virtual worlds right in your web browser. Not only can you share a virtual world as simply a emailing a link, you can team up with others to simultaneously build and edit a world.
The Virtual World Sandbox is made for use and reuse. Sandbox tools help you develop, search for and reuse content - behaviors, video, audio, 3D objects - whatever you make or find. You can build your own custom library of commonly-used content.
