AARP Studios is excited to announce the release of "Badass Pilot: The Series," an original unscripted digital series that launched on AARP Studios’ YouTube channel on Nov. 14, 2017. Badass Pilot features Art Nalls, a retired Marine Corps lieutenant colonel who takes a major risk later in life by purchasing a British Sea Harrier fighter jet, one of the most rare and elusive planes in the world, making him the only private citizen to own and fly one! With a combined experience of 150+ years, Nalls, 63, and his team are dedicated to keeping the Harrier flying for aviation enthusiasts to enjoy.
Fasten your seatbelt, prepare for takeoff and follow along on this five-episode journey as he travels to England to purchase the Harrier, transports it home in over 5,000 pieces and then relies on his team of retired pilots and aircraft mechanics to help rebuild it. Together they attempt to get the Harrier flying in time for the upcoming air show season, but they hit a few bumps along the way. And with his own flying career coming close to an end, Nalls hunts for a highly skilled younger pilot who can one day replace him.

In these 13 episodes, Don breaks bread with actors, directors and comedians he’s inspired over the years as they talk about life and his 60-plus-year career in show business. It was filmed at some of Don's favorite restaurants in and around Hollywood.

Celebrity guests Jimmy Kimmel, Snoop Dogg, Amy Poehler, Zach Galifianakis, Paul Rudd, Sarah Silverman, Billy Crystal, Rich Eisen, Vince Vaughn, Marisa Tomei, Jonathan Silverman, Judd Apatow, Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese got to show their love and appreciation for this comedic legend while he zinged them in classic Rickles style throughout the meal.
The series was produced by AARP Studios, Winbrook Entertainment and Stamper Lumber Company.
