A4ID's Annual Training Programme on Law and International Development provides an overview of the key issues that link law and international development.
Leading academics, development experts and legal practitioners explain and debate current development challenges and the role that the law plays, both as a barrier and potential solution, to these challenges.
We have published clips of some of the seminars delivered at the 2011-2012 Training Programme.
A4ID runs six thematic Knowledge Groups that meet to discuss how the law can support and push forward the international development agenda.
There is one Knowledge Group for each of the following areas of law and development: Climate Change, Governance, Intellectual Property, Responsible Business, Socio-economic Rights and Trade, debt & Finance.
The Groups invite speakers from NGOs, research institutions, major law firms and universities to lead the sessions.
