It's always going to be a good idea to know what's in a construction contract and one way to accomplish this will be to actually explain it to your clients or let them read the entire contract on their own and answer any questions after doing so. This will benefit you as much as it will them.
I really don't know where to start, if your a contractor who is interested in learning more about the construction business, from someone with over 30 years of experience, then this book's for you. Realistically, that's all I have to say, the book will speak for itself.
These videos will provide you with a better idea of whether or not you really want to become a contractor and start your own construction business. You will need to be dedicated and willing to work hard in order to keep the business going and if you're not willing to put the time in, then don't bother.
The best tip I could give young contractors would be to get the book "501 Contractor Tips" and use it as a companion guide to all of the videos we have created so far. I wish you the best of luck and hope you succeed at whatever you choose to do.
I can't think of anything more important to a business owner than learning how to make more money. Here's a playlist I created for those interested in learning more about the business and construction and contracting. We've got to learn how to work smarter instead of harder and using the book along with the videos as a companion guide can provide you with more information on how to work smarter.
Here's a playlist I put together of my older videos. These are the videos I created right after I wrote the book, but before I started to put them in order so that everyone could benefit from them. Don't forget to visit the website for a complete organized list of videos I've made so far. I'm planning on making one for every tip and might even continue making more of them, to provide you with more tools on how to create a successful construction company.
