The UVG

The Urban Vocal Group (UVG) is a music organisation that until April 2021 was an independent charity but has now merged with the Guildhall Trust charity. We work with young people aged 11-25 many of whom are experiencing challenging circumstancesand and we specialise in group vocals and performance. We also provide songwriting, recording, mentoring, artist development, and music industry training. Our groups have performed all over the South Coast at a variety of festivals and events and our activities continue to have a significant impact on young people's life chances. We also have 2 fee-paying adult vocal groups (AUVG) for ages 19+ in Havant and Portsmouth and all of the profits from these groups go back into the charity; helping to provide free music tuition to more young people.
