The Lodger

Yorkshire, UK-based indie 3 piece The Lodger are back hot on the heels of their recent warmly received album “Cul De Sac of Love” in March this year, which sold out it's vinyl run and is currently being re-pressed.


“Bewildered” is a brand new non-album cut; a supremely catchy piano-led track full of lush vocal harmonies, jangly 12-string guitars, fluttery tremolo, vintage fuzz, a stomping beat and a bittersweet lyric, all adding up to a concise 3 minute nugget of wonky pop. The single may bring to mind band favourites such as The Beatles, Teenage Fanclub, Super Furry Animals, The Beach Boys and other devotees of the perfect pop chorus. The sleeve image comes via designer Nick Scott (The Cribs/Ride).
