Life on Ice - Clips From Ben & Tarka in Antarctica
'Travel' to Antarctica from the comfort of your home. Step into Ben Saunders and Tarka L'Herpiniere's shoes on-expedition as they make their remarkable 1800 mile, unsupported return journey on foot from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole and back retracing Captain Robert Falcon Scott's footsteps. At 1800 miles the Scott Expedition will be the longest unsupported polar journey in history and first completion of Scott's iconic Terra Nova route.
Using Intel's latest 4th Generation technology and a customised Iridium Pilot satellite system Ben and Tarka will be sending back a number of clips throughout the expedition giving followers at home a snapshot into life on the ice.
