First patch with CV Tools for Ableton Live.
The piano is a random non-repeating sequence, triggered by a random LFO from CV LFO in Ableton which is converted to MIDI, quantized with a custom scale, and sent to NI's Kontakt loaded with The Maverick piano library. Ableton's CV Triggers plugin is being used for percussion, triggering an SSF Entity Bass Drum and Percussion Synth with MIDI clips ranging from 5 to 13 bars. Strings are from Kontakt's Session Strings library, triggered by a long 45-bar MIDI clip. The synth voice is an Instruo Ts-L cailbrated with Ableton's CV Instrument plugin, and sequenced as a 19-bar MIDI loop.
Ableton's clock is controlled by a square LFO from Mutable Instruments Stages sent to the ES-8 into the CV Clock In plugin, with the LFO's rate randomized by an adjacent sample-and-hold stage, clocked by the same square LFO. All delays are from Ableton, and reverb is from NI's RC-48. Recorded in one take directly to a Tascam DR-44 with no overdubs.
