Jamming with my minimal eurorack setup (with my new DIY Befaco Output module) and Elektron Analog Four MKII and I’m also bringing in some spoken word with one of my Sony PCMs. The Analog Four is making the warbly base texture and the wriggly high hat rhythm. Using the Magneto to split and divide the clock from the Analog Four, this clock goes into the Zularic Repetitor which triggers a high hat and a kick sample from the 4ms sampler. The kick sample gets reversed with some trigs from the Analog Four’s sequencer and some pitch CV alters the samples pitch (although I have the kick’s pitch input mostly disconnected). The Magneto is switching between the triplet and the switch mode with some CV from the A4 also. Basimilus Iteritas Alter is adding some metallic percussive tones. I recorded myself speaking on the Sony PCM D50 with its internal mics and run that through the mixer and effects to add some intimacy to the track.
