In the town of Conchord, MA
There is a little bakery
There had to learn their lesson
They learned it the hard way
Were they cookin' the books down at Nashoba Brook?
They were just making their stuff
When the man came in and told them
"Hey! Something here don't feel up to snuff"
Even if it doesn't seem to make any sense
You gotta watch out what you put in those ingredients
Don't put love in the granola
The FDA is gonna ruin your day, they won't let you get away
If they do don't say that we never told ya
Be careful not to ever, ever, ever, ever put love in the granola
But Stu and John, two real cool guys
Said, "we don't know any other way!"
Than mixing love in with our oats
That's how we make granol-i-a
So if you look on the ingredients list
There might be one thing that you miss
No you won't see the love but you'll taste it in
All these fresh baked oats that they're selling
Even if we're always down for a little love
You gotta heed that warning when it's coming from up above
Mix, mix, mix it in, you gotta mix mix mix it in (and put some love in it!)
