I've assembled these videos to help explain some background material to support an appropriate focus to understanding how Stanley Meyer defied convention - not the laws of physics - by following some simple facts of chemistry to make possible his so-called water fueled dune buggy (which should be more accurately called his air/water fueled dune buggy) beyond present convention of assuming that hydrogen was the only fuel used onboard. It was not. It was combined with ammonia.

But neither hydrogen nor ammonia gives the ultimate boost to drive any vehicle up an incline or accelerate into traffic. The boost comes about from the reformation of nitrogen gas as an N2 molecule exhibiting a triple rebonding which consequently generates a huge energy release upon the reunion of nitrogen ions only after ammonia and hydrogen are ignited and burned with oxygen inside an engine. This release of energy upon the reunion of nitrogen ions is a straightforward conversion of the high voltage electrostatic energy which the hydrogen and air underwent in separate inlet ports before they were combined to form ammonia (among other minor ingredients) in Stanley's dune buggy, proof of concept experiment. So, no energy has been mined from the aether to make this a free energy device. The free energy comes about from the triple bonding characteristic of the nitrogen molecules in our air. This characteristic is setup as a potential minefield of energy upon the positive ionization of air using a very high voltage. Herman Anderson used 70,000 volts. Stanley Meyer may have done, similarly. This detail is still a mystery.

Once the di-nitrogen (N2) molecule in our air is split up into individual ions, it doesn't matter a whole lot what we combine it with, because this is but a temporary state immediately prior to its oxidation within our engine. We might as well combine it with hydrogen since we're going to blend this nitrogen molecule with hydrogen to exhibit burn characteristics similar to gasoline, namely: the ingnitability and expansive forces (against the pistons inside our engine) of using this blend instead of using gasoline. Once this blend is burned, nitrogen is no longer under the coercive forces which initially split apart the N2 molecule. It is free to recombine with other nitrogen ions and form triple bonding in a paired relationship and release all of the energy which was used in the first place to split N2 molecules apart, namely: high voltage. This release of energy constitutes a conversion of high voltage electrostatic energy into mechanical motion of our engine via the several steps outlined above. So, Stanley's process is a conversion process. It is not a free energy synthesis from the vacuum of space, or aether.
