Introduction to configuration management with the IBM Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management

This playlist introduces aspects of the configuration management capabilities as presented in the IBM Rational solution for collaborative lifecycle management and supporting IBM’s continuous engineering solution. This playlist is not exhaustive of all capabilities, but is intended to get you started.

The configuration management capabilities at the tool level and across and across tools, make it possible to baseline at key stages of the development process, and use baselines for reference, or to spin off new development efforts, or reuse in different configurations and variants of the system. The solution also makes it possible to represent a product or application as a set of components, including a deeply hierarchical structure. Within that structure, reuse components and subsystems in multiple product variants, for example, in a product line engineering scenario.
