Intro to Entrepreneurship

Introduction to Entrepreneurship (UGBA 96/L&S 5, taught by Jennifer Walske and Ajay Bam) is an undergraduate class offered by the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. The goal of this class is to give students a broad perspective on entrepreneurship. This class has a roster of acclaimed entrepreneurs and alumni, who are based in a variety of fields, bringing to life entrepreneurial research which is also discussed through-out the semester. Topics include high technology, social entrepreneurship, family entrepreneurship, and corporate entrepreneurship. In the class students also interview an entrepreneur and come-up with an idea for a new venture, which is judged by a panel of entrepreneurs, and presented in the final class known as "IDEAFest."
