I wanted to record a new WELCOME to my YouTube Channel video. I also wanted to test live streaming. I think I have accomplished both. In any case, WELCOME to my YouTube channel. Pull up a chair. Stay a while. Here you will find videos about spooky stuff (because that's what I write), about books, writing and publishing (because that's what I spend a lot of time doing), and about craft beer (because, that's mostly what I drink when I'm not drinking coffee or water).
Videos related to writing, the business of writing, the business of publishing. Content is either excerpts from the Stark Reflections on Writing & Publishing podcast or unique stand-alone pieces of advice, information, inspiration and tips for writers on the writer's life.
Free Friday Frights is a weekly free read from Mark Leslie. Alternating each week between fiction and non-fiction, an entire short story or short non-fiction true ghostly or eerie tale will be available to read for approximately 24 hours.
During that 24 hours, Mark will record a live video of the reading of the story or a discussion about the non-fiction piece, available on his Facebook Author page at http://www/facebook.com/MarkLeslieAuthor
Usually within 72 or so hours of the weekly broadcast, the video from that Friday will be added to those playlist.
In March 2010, Robert J. Sawyer did a book launch, reading and talk about his new novel WATCH (The second book in his WWW - Wake, Watch, Wonder - trilogy) at the Titles bookstore at McMaster University.
(When these videos were originally uploaded, there was a 10 minute time limit for YouTube video uploads - so the event was broken into 7 parts that include an introduction, a reading, a talk and a Q&A session)
