Laurel City Historical Fencing

Laurel City Historical Fencing, a HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) group in Winsted, CT.  Our curriculum focuses on the medieval German teachings of masters such as Johannes Liechtenauer, Hans Talhoffer, Sigmund Ringeck, Paulus Kal, Peter Falkner, and others.  Our main study is on the two handed longsword, but classes also include wrestling, dagger, spear, messer, sword & buckler, and poleaxe.  This page is meant to be a utility for students; a reference for outside of class as well as a others interested in learning about HEMA.
