Five Bournes, One Apartment is a television series that parodies the Jason Bourne film franchise. Matt Damon played the lead role in the first three films (The Bourne Identity , The Bourne Supremacy , The Bourne Ultimatum ), handing over the reigns to Jeremy Renner for the fourth installment, The Bourne Legacy , using the tagline, 'There was never just one.' One July 29th, Damon returns for the fifth installment, simply titled, Jason Bourne.
To give the franchise a reality spin and answer the demand for more diversity in Hollywood, Five Bournes, One Apartment chronicles the adventures of White Bourne, Black Bourne, Brown Bourne, Yellow Bourne and Girl Bourne, five ex-government assassins, living together in Marina Del Rey, trying their best to adjust to civilian life after a long, amnesia nap, but for the most part, doing so unsuccessfully.
Five Bournes, One Apartment is more diverse than a United Colors of Benetton commercial, mixes high speed action and martial arts with hilarious deadpan dialogue, and all mixed to the classic Bourne music score. While the Bourne films are dramatic and deal with the same general storyline, Five Bournes, One Apartment has the ability to spoof current events, politics, racial tensions and relationships in this microcosm of society we call the City of Angels.
