Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker gave the address at Hamilton College’s commencement on Sunday, May 21, in the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House where 508 students received bachelor’s degrees. Also speaking at commencement were Alec Talsania, recipient of The James Soper Merrill Prize, and class speaker Katherine Brouns.
The inauguration of David Wippman as the 20th president of Hamilton College took place Saturday, October 8. President Wippman addressed the community; Walter Mondale, the 42nd vice president of the United States, presented brief remarks; and representatives from Hamilton's constituencies offered greetings to President Wippman.
