In today's video, we're discussing the latest news in terms of iOS 12.4, iOS 12.3.1 and iOS 12.3 Jailbreak, which was recently achieved by ProteasWang, a security researcher interested in iOS. Just a few days ago, Apple stopped signing iOS 12.3.1 and iOS 12.3 leaving only iOS 12.4 signed and available for upgrades, restores, and downgrades, but that is not necessarily a bad thing considering that iOS 12.4 shares the same security contents with iOS 12.3.1, and possibly (I need to check) with iOS 12.3.

However, it's very important that you stay on the lowest version for the moment. Proteas has demonstrated successful SSH connection to his iOS 12.4 device, which does confirm he has tfp0 on iOS 12.4 and therefore on iOS 12.3.1 and possibly iOS 12.3 as well. Not quite Cydia yet, but SSH means that he managed to get tfp0, escape his sandbox, get root and then get a custom binary such as dropbear or openssh (more likely dropbear) to run without being terminated by AMFI and its CoreTrust, so he's pretty far advanced into a jailbreak process. While for A12 devices more things may be needed (such as a PAC bypass) for Tweak Injection, the rest of the devices could definitely use this to get a full jailbreak rather quickly if released.
